#Foxit phantompdf standard pdf
Any decent PDF reader/viewer lets you enter the data in a form field.

Underneath those words is a fillable form field that you can tab or mouse to and then enter the data (your first name and initial).

If you want to change those words, you need a PDF editor that can change the content of a PDF (PhantomPDF can, Foxit Reader cannot). The words "Your first name and initial" are part of the content of the PDF. > what does the content of the PDF means? > On the editing the date on a fillable form field how do I do that?Īny fillable form field can be filled by tabbing to the field or mousing to it and clicking.then entering the data in the field.

I'll know more later today after I install PhantomPDF. If that's the case, click the Hand tool on the ribbon after placing the stamp the first time. But maybe in PhantomPDF it's keeping the Stamp tool selected, so a mouse click places the stamp again. In Foxit Reader, after placing the stamp, it automatically reverts to the Hand tool. That's probably because the Stamp is still selected. > Date stamp also worked based on your solution.

I don't have it installed now, but I'll install the trial in a sandbox later today and will let you know how to do it. I'm sure that PhantomPDF can rotate all the pages of a PDF. So does that mean there is no solution to this? It is a 5 page PDF so the other 4 even when I individually rotated them and saved as it still did not work. If you want a free solution, you'll need to revert to Foxit Reader, and also install PDF-XChange Editor for the features that Foxit Reader doesn't have, such as OCR and rotation. I'm glad that Ken's reply works for you, but keep in mind that once your trial expires, it is not a cheap product - $129 for Standard and $159 for Business. So, my comment that he is "wrong" was based on his response being for Foxit Reader (same reason why I said that Alex is right). His post quoted this comment from you: "I need to know how to permanently rotate the orientation of a PDF in Foxit Reader". That's because you have PhantomPDF, not Foxit Reader. Do you have PhantomPDF Business or PhantomPDF Standard? OK, that's a different product from the Foxit Software folks. You're welcome, Basem, and thanks to you for the kind words. > Thank you for your ultra simple and detailed solution. What I was trying to achieve is send the form because it has all the information on the requested fields are the same I just need to change the date field ONLY. I did not create it my self.I my self filled in the date field. What does the content of the PDF means? Aren't the date is always part of the PDF? It was already on the blank field. > Also is it possible to edit something like the date field on a save PDF document? Yes, if it is a fillable form field. Please help.ģ.On the editing the date on a fillable form field how do I do that? However when I clicked on it with the mouse went to paste it got pasted but I can't release the mouse because it keep on placing another stamp. So does that mean there is no solution to this?Ģ.Date stamp also worked based on your solution.
